On Tuesday, October 11, 2011 I drove into your GMC dealership with the idea that if I saw the vehicle my wife and I liked, I was going to try to make a deal and take it home with me. This was no spur of the moment decision, as we have been looking at GMC Acadias for at least three years. You had a few 2011 models in stock, which is what we were looking for. We usually buy a low mileage demo vehicle to keep down the cost, but still get a dependable vehicle. I worked with one of your sales consultants, Thomas (I think his last name was Gutierrez) who was very helpful.
I’m a tough negotiator and extremely conservative. After a while, Michelle Thurston was brought into the discussion. Michelle was very professional and willing to work with me to reach the results I was looking for. I realize that a dealership is in business to make a profit, I just was looking for a deal that was a fair price and I was able to shop local to get it. Michelle made it happen, negotiating to a price I could accept, yet being true to the margin she needed to stay within. My wife picked up her new Acadia on Oct. 15 and is very pleased with it! I truly appreciate Michelle’s professionalism, patience and customer service skills. She does a great job and represents your dealership well. We have purchased numerous vehicles from your dealership, and the preceding owners (all of them!), and we will be back!
